Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Another stop on our busy, multi-country trip was Kuala Lumpur. It was a nice place, but we couldn't find much to do. We took a three hour hop-on, hop-off tour around the city & we were able to see most of what Kuala Lumpur had to offer. The city had a mix of Indian & Asian influences, which was pretty interesting. The airport was nice, but not as nice as Singapore. The Petronas twin towers, reportedly slightly taller than the Empire State Building, didn't seem very tall in person. I guess when there's nothing to compare the height to, it's hard to appreciate how tall something really is. All in all, I was very happy to experience part of Malaysia, but I don't see myself going back anytime soon.
